Issue Number 23 - October 2011

Greetings Solar Power Beginner Nation,

Hope you had a great September and maybe even got a chance to check out the Solar Power Beginner mobile site on your smart phone.

We've been working on a new section of the site that explains solar panel sizes. You can check out a couple of our new pages like the 100 Watt Solar Panel page or the 30 Watt Solar Panel page.

This new section should help out those of you who are ready to make a solar panel purchase, but want to know how much power will get the job done.

There are only a few days left for our "All Together Solar" fundraising campaign. This new project will organize neighborhoods for group buying of solar power. You can watch a short video about "All Together Solar" here.

Thanks for your support, and now on to the solar news:

An "epic hailstorm" in Phoenix was no match for rooftop solar panels (One company reported only 2 damaged panels out of 100 000).

Also, a little-known internet company by the name of "Google" has created a fund to help homeowners install solar panels.

Solar power conquers Mount Everest! Check out the view from the top of the world with the help of a solar powered camera.

And remember, if you're having trouble finding information on Solar Power Beginner, check out our search feature on the right side of each page. It will help you find everything from solar panels to solar post lights.

Also, please 'Like Us' on facebook so you can spread the word and help SPB Nation to grow.

Best of luck and remember... SPB Nation needs you now more than ever.

Viva la solar revolucion!

You can reach me through our Contact Form if you've got any comments or suggestions.

Good luck in all your solar endeavors!
