Issue Number 15 - January 2011

Happy New Year to all of you solar power enthusiasts!

It was a great 2010 for solar power in general and for Solar Power Beginner in particular.

We tripled the number of visitors to the website that we had in 2009 and we added a bunch of new features that should make 2011 the best year we've ever had. Thank you for keeping in touch through this newsletter, we couldn't have done it without such loyal fans.

Here is a little recap of some of the new features we've added over the past twelve months:

  • We've added some interactivity to the site by letting users submit their own comments to pages (for instance, you can let us know your thoughts on the best solar panels available).

  • We partnered with Cooler Planet to offer a service that provides you with a free solar quote.

  • We added a column to the right side of each page with some new features including a custom search tool that makes it easy to find information anywhere on the site (check it out on our solar panel page).

  • We've partnered with EcoloBlue and made their atmospheric water generators available through the Solar Power Beginner website. These machines create water out of thin air and can be powered by solar panels.
These new additions to Solar Power Beginner have helped us to grow in 2010 but here are a couple of areas we'd like to work on to make 2011 our best year ever:

  • More interaction. We'd like to hear more from you whether it's through our comment sections, our contact form, or our facebook page.

  • More content. We want to find ways to bring you more of the information that will help you make solar power a part of your life.

Thanks for sticking with us and best of luck in 2011!

You can reach me through our Contact Form if you've got any comments or suggestions.

Good luck in all your solar endeavors!
